The numerical system for posting on the forums of NJ.com is rather simple. Start a new thread, get a new number. Stay within the thread and your post receives sub-numbers.

The inconsistency of that is if the most recent post is deleted then the next new post will assume the recently deleted post's number as opposed to the next sequential number.

To make this point more clearer take a look at this madness.

Today (9-8-2007) at 3:14pm post 5456 was posted by 'pbaman6'. Within an hour the post was deleted and by 4:26pm a new 5456 titled, "Censorship is awesome" was in its place. This new post was added by 'LovinTrenton' as a replacement to a previously deleted post (5454) and it too lasted less than an hour. By 5:54pm 'EDDIE353' posted "Deleted post!!!!!!!!" (Regarding post 5450, which was also deleted) and it now held the same 5456 designation. As expected, post 5456 met its demise and was deleted for the third time. Now comes along LovinTrenton again and sees their post is missing and reposts 5456, but titles it, "Why the fear?" This one had no chance and was deleted within minutes and subsequently replaced with "Does anyone" by 'transformer'. After getting a response to his inoffensive inquiry from 'Ozzi', 'transformer' responded politely and I figured the post and thread would survive.

Not the case. Within a half an hour post 5456 was dead again and soon replaced with "Eddie" by poster 'footpost'. As expected 5456 went down in flames lasting only about 30 minutes.

As of this writing 5456 remained vacant waiting for an appropriate post, but in the mean time 'EDDIE353', 'pbaman6' and 'LovinTrenton' succumbed to the antics of the forum police and are no longer with us in cyberspace.

RIP boys. We'll see you on the other side.

transfered to midnights. That's the answer. Did everybody see dougs picture in the paper with Lofton. doug looked real concerned. Not. He had the look of an actor prentending to be concerned. Lets be careful out there. God bless all Police Officers, Firefighters, TEMS Officers, and their families.

It looks like I will just have to repost my response to Capt Sleepy giving the East Sgt.1 week to try to stop the gang problem in his sector.Capt sleepy is in charge any other time,so what's his plan? He's getting the big bucks,he's the Directors number 1 man so where are his ideas?Maybe he has failed the Director again,but that's O.K.they can have dinner together next week and see who they will screw.It's all a joke the guy's that should be in charge are on midnights and out of the way. Maybe messina can put some of his office boy's on the road, and give the street cops a hand cleaning up the corners.Maybe the street cops need a leader who can show them how to clean up the streets,and gain the street cops respect,(that leaves messina out).Maybe messina will do nothing but scream and yell and transfer one of the Sgt's due to his own incompetence.

5456 and 5457 were posted at 6:48 and 8:24 respectively and by 10:00am both were gone. 5457 was from a new screen name; 'PunkyPie' (Screen name 'PunkyPie' was deleted because of the offensive nature of the post) and they surreptitiously posted this non-link 't r e n t o n k a t dot b l o g s p o t dot com', which apparently was deemed too offensive. (It was a cartoon spoof of Mayor Palmer)

5456 was apparently too offensive too as 'transformer' dared to call the immature adults who are censoring the forum 'children'.

Did anyone hear that the East District Sgt. has one week to come up with a plan of action to solve the Gang Problem on Locust St. Of course this order was implemented from the great Capt Sleepy. Well Sleepy, you have to big one of the most incompetent leaders I have ever seen. For a year in a half, you have spent a great deal of money to have officer's sitting on the 100 block of Walnut Ave, baby sitting so called adults. Everybody told you that you are not solving the problem, you were just pushing the criminal element around the block to Locust St. Well genius now your making a Sgt to come up with an action plan to solve the problem. I say screw you, why don't you come up with the plan you created the problem loser.

How can you expect Capt. Scum Bag to come up with a plan when he knows nothing about police work or sloving any kind of problem. If you want to know how to be a loud mouth snake or a fat suck up then you would go to him. This so called supervisor has always been a mess and a cry baby and now he is just pushing his fat azz around and doing nothing but destorying a once great police department. would sit down with his men, Sgts. and Lts. and calmly hash this problem out. End result would be the men and women on the street, the Sgts. and Lts. would all push themselves for the Captain because the Captain was calm, open and sought the knowledge of his Officers. Am I right in this nobikeray? I'd bet my pension check I am.

He's is already having his day,he is one of the least respested policeman in the history of the T.P.D. At least he dosen't represent the S.O.A.or the P.B.A.anymore to embarass those quality unions.He has no people skills,he lacks job knowledge,his emotions rule his decisions,and he tries to command with unfair rules and penaltys.Can anyone give us any good traits about the man,other then he eats everthing on his plate.

After watching the blatant censorship overtake the Trenton Forum on NJ.com, Captsleepy.com can only wonder if NJ.com is actively promoting censorship, and are they assisting Doug Palmer in keeping the voice of the people silenced with the impending arrival of the U.S. Conference of Mayors?
