YOU'RE HISTORY!!

…but keep the city car and cell phone.

That's right Trenton taxpayers, as of today, Tuesday February 12, 2008, EX consultant Bartholomew 'Barry' Colicelli -who was denied a fan-tabulous fourth contract last Thursday night by the suddenly empowered city council- was still in possession of the city owned Crown Victoria and city owned cell phone he was afforded while being a consultant to Mayor Palmer.

Don't believe me?

ROAD TRIP!!

Being the boring stiff that I am I decided to take a ride to the Jersey shore this morning and guess what I found?

Here you see the city owned black Ford Crown Victoria, which was previously used by deputy police director Abraham Hemsey, parked in Colicelli's Brielle driveway.

To make matters worse, Colicelli still retains the city cell phone.

And if you can believe this, I hear Bartholomew might've actually had TWO city cell phones while contracting his services to Trenton. That's right, TWO!
So to make sure I have this correct I will prepare a timeline for you.

Friday December 14, 2007 - Colicelli's contract expires

Thursday February 7, 2008 - Council boldly votes down Colicelli's bid officially severing all ties to him.

Friday, February 8, 2008 - Colicelli is observed driving the city owned Ford Crown Victoria on I-195 and into the city, presumably to drop off the car and cell phone(s). NOT!!

Saturday February 9, 2008 - Colicelli maintains possession of the city owned Ford Crown Victoria and cell phone

Sunday February 10, 2008 - Colicelli maintains possession of the city owned Ford Crown Victoria and cell phone

Monday February 11, 2008 - Colicelli maintains possession of the city owned Ford Crown Victoria and cell phone

Tuesday February 12, 2008 - Colicelli maintains possession of the city owned Ford Crown Victoria and cell phone

That's pretty simple, right? So I was just wondering a couple things?

With all this damning evidence is Palmer snubbing his nose at council and the residents of Trenton and…

When the hell is Bartholomew going to return the city property; and is Trenton still paying for his gas and cell phone usage?

By the way - City hall insiders reported Friday that Mayor Palmer was working feverishly to retain Bartholomew by either bringing the resolution back to city council or finding another position for him within the administration.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Trenton detectives are driving around in clunkers while Bartholomew and Anthony Barber drive in style.

Barber's car
Cronyism at its best.
